TEAMWRKX Donates Tickets for 50 Evergreen High School Students to See San Jose Stealth Battle the Portland Lumberjax at HP Pavilion

April 07, 2006 ---- San Jose, CA ---- To show its support for its community, TEAMWRKX, the parent company of TEAM Construction and Development, picked up the cost of tickets for 50 students from San Jose’s Evergreen High School to watch the San Jose Stealth face off against the Portland Lumberjax on April 7th at HP Pavilion.

“Many of these students have never had the opportunity to see a sporting event at HP Pavilion. When Evergreen High School asked if we could sponsor 50 students to attend a San Jose Stealth game, I was happy to get involved, especially since I live in the Evergreen area,” said Vagish Kapila, director of TEAMWRKX Technology Services.

“The goal of the Sticks-2-Schools program is to promote physical fitness for our youth. What better way to inspire these teens to get active than to treat them to a fun and exciting lacrosse game between two teams of incredibly fit athletes,” Kapila said.

The Sticks-2-Schools Program was co-founded by TEAM Construction and Development and the San Jose Stealth. This season the program provided free lacrosse equipment and instruction to physical education classes and after-school programs at 31 Bay Area elementary, middle and high schools, enabling an estimated 21,000 students have the opportunity to get fit while playing lacrosse.

The San Jose Stealth, (www.sjstealth.com), a member of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), plays at HP Pavilion. TEAM Construction and Development, Inc. (www.team-construction.com), a member of the TEAMWRKX family of companies, is the 25th largest commercial contractor in Silicon Valley, offering construction, building management and technology services.
